A migrant artist living in New Zealand. Jacqueline’s works have sold to collectors from Britain, South Africa and New Zealand including Sir James Wallace and Ricky Burnett. She has exhibited frequently since moving to New Zealand in 2000.

Jacqueline grew up in Johannesburg and studied Fine Art, attended the National School of the Arts, then the University of Johannesburg. She spent time working in music television for South African Broadcasting and worked in a theme park 'Gold Reef City' doing live portraits.

Arriving in New Zealand Jacqueline has worked in accounts for Draw Art Supplies and then retail management at Gordon Harris Art Supplies. Jacqueline has taught community art classes and worked in a range of non-profit arts organisations in the past decade. Jacqueline has been a volunteer firewoman and successfully fought to save Beachlands Log Cabin from Manukau City Council demolition.

In recent years Jacqueline has returned to her first loves, figure drawing and watercolour, she also completed postgraduate studies in Expressive Therapies. She currently volunteers on the committee of the Creative Therapies Associaion of Aotearoa, facilitates a Breastfeeding Support Group and co-facilitates Community Drumming in Whanganui where she lives with her husband and two children.


This year Jacqueline will participate for the second time in the Artists Open Studios Whanganui this is a fantastic opportunity to meet Jacqueline in person and view her range of art works in her studio.
